Born in Susa (TO), Italy, on 02-04-1974. I graduated in Decoration at Accademia Albertina in Turin and Technical Graphics Industry and Photolithography at the Vigliardi Paravia Institute of Turin. At the experimentation in the field of Art have joined the daily work of restoration of frescoes and paintings, archaeological excavation and Graphic Design.
I call my work “abstract landscape”, meaning by this definition, a set of physical and mental operations that meet in my work, usually expressed through painting and engraving, but also with the installation. I paint ordinary and extraordinary things in my daily life. All these things are “dumped” on the canvas in the form of empathic perceptions whenever I’m in the studio to paint. In this way my work is a layered succession of these perceptions. Every perception of the other previous lives and it is added as if waiting for something that is yet to come. At some point I decide that a certain pattern is consistent, and so declare the work finished (at least for a while). The result is often a painting belonging to the genre of landscape, with a fragmented style levels in which the viewer is able to move by creating its particular configuration. Sometime the figurative references, sometimes appears rather the connective tissue that holds together the perceptions.
