I feel that this world is abstract in nature and design, its difficult to be too direct, and that a process of abstraction helps break down complexities, in order to process a vision.

My Inspiration comes from the close study of all objects and people and an understanding of dynamics (tensions of weight and balance), a process also used in my sculpting.
With all my projects I use similar observational methods. My process of understanding the subjects is by abstracting them into 5 elements, shape, colour, structure, dynamics and finally, my personal feelings.
I have always felt drawn to the inner workings of natural and man made objects; the small details of nature, their evolving colour changes and form, making vibrant announcements before the cold of winter or warmth of spring.
