About
I enjoy true-crime paperbacks, Russian cinema, novels written in the first person by unreliable narrators, and contemporary classical music. My work draws on the traditions and techniques of western figurative painting because that is what I love, and my sources range from the Old Testament to fairytales, from historical crimes to opera, via early photography.

Studied Theology at the University of Leeds, then Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art and the New York Academy of Art.
Exhibited in New York, Glasgow, and at the Blackheath Gallery in London. Also produced the artwork for several CDs and designed sets for productions at the New York City Ballet and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
