About

Born in Italy and lived between France and Italy until 2000. Now living and working in Scotland. My preferred technique is oil on canvas, and I tend to favour the human shape, as well as the curved shape of waves.
I have produced some 'landscapes' that were distinctive for being barren and post-nuclear looking, and I am in the process of recuperating images of older works and exhibition leaflets from a distant past. Those will be uploaded in due course, once the digitisation is completed. I work at WASPS, Hanson Street, Glasgow. Studio no. 216. WASPS is organising its yearly open doors weekend as follows: Saturday and Sunday 1st/2nd October 2011. for more information visit http://www.waspsstudios.org.uk/news/latest-news/save-the-date-wasps-artists-open-studios-weekend-2011/

Work
I used to be a writer of ISO9000 procedures, and I have always worked in multinationals in order to pay my bills. I took up studying, initially part time in 2006 and Graduated with First Class Honours in English Studies at the University of Strathclyde in July 2011. I owe part of my current happiness and inspiration for work I'm doing to one of my tutors, Jonathan Hope, who taught me how to understand Shakespeare's Language and other writers' language and meaning. He has introduced to me the amazing works of Ian Hamilton Finlay (Little Sparta) and B.S.Johnson (Christie Malry's own double-entry) and these works now keep me company within the solitude of my studio.
