About

I am an artist from the Philippines, graduated with an MA from Camberwell College of Art. My work deals with the issues of identity processed through drawing, photography and the moving image.

What I am seeking in my drawing practice is the evidence of my mark. Amidst the plethora of information in contemporary culture, I am on this journey to discover meaning again, to begin again with the self. Through the permutation of dots and strokes into patterns and surfaces, I encounter the complexity of my own identity, rendered in the multitude of marks. My drawings are attempts to make a provisional whole, to make sense of what was lost and hopefully reveal what still remains.
