I studied fashion design and later sculpture on Academy of Fine arts and Design. I also spent one semester in Video Studio and one in Painting Studio. All these influences left marks on my approach to art. While I am doing sculpture, object and installations I use textiles and other non traditional materials but in the definitions as site-specific as well.
Material is for me one of the inspirations but not the only one. I like to mention the problem and if I cannot solve it at least to present it, so people can see it through my art and think about it. I want people to be more aware, more receptive, I do vulnerable, obscure works to make them look for them and think about them. They are the everyday objects in new associations in new way of sight. I want to show that even normal things can be interesting and unusual in a way and that not everything we see is true. We have to consider every minute, we have to keep in mind many things and have an idea, find the meaning or try seeking.
I do solid works, from sculpture material to stay forever, leave a mark but also things that last a little while, after they are just process presented on the photographs and also works that last only a special period and after that they are destroyed, either by viewers or they have to be uninstalled after exhibition is finished.
