About
I grew up in the UK and after marrying, moved to the US and subsequently India. I now divide my time between these countries.
I feel in todays ever changing world where challenges continuously have to be met, the consciousness of 'being' is not easily realized or once in touch with, is difficult to keep. In my life journey I draw inspiration from Vedic texts like the Gita, to delve deeper into spiritual connectivity. Yoga and pranayama help me to attain a higher sense of awareness and a creativity which is what you see translated onto my canvases.

Apart from being largely self taught, I have participated in many workshops and done courses with various artists in India and abroad. I learnt a lot from my last teacher Bangalore artist, MG Doddamani and currently I am pursuing a course from the Open College of the Arts, in the UK.
