This recent collection of collages and abstracts by Mini Arora shows her interest and fascination with the inner consciousness, her search for identity in the quagmire of the mind.
Spirituality is the key element of her works, putting across her belief that each and everyone of us can search for the ultimate level of consciousness, the hidden psyche, the perfect spirit or state of bliss. The soul emerges, refined by struggle and suffering; these works encapsulate her beliefs.
The artist's works aim to awaken the finer emotions in a spectator, emotions that we cannot put into words. Art and spirituality, as Kandinsky exposed many years ago, go hand in hand.
