Born in Seoul, South Korea. Moved to New York, N.Y. in 1972. Working with free form of expression, using different materials. Currently residing in Raleigh, North Carolina, U.S.A.
From 1999 through 2005 my work became sculptural and three dimensional with innovative materials incorporated, such as neon lights, LED, and fluorescent lights. In 2005 I started to work with a new technique using roller and spray paint allowing me to overlay color of washes and bringing out their pure vibrancy. Incorporating line and geometry, and manipulating the sense of light to the point of creating an environment are the most important elements of my work.
