Born in 1973 in Riga, Latvia. I teach drawing and run an art school in Riga, Latvia. On my free time I make drawings and paintings. My forte is figural painting, with a twinge of surrealism as this is the way I feel in today's world. The idea of the artwork is better explained by the title which is (sometimes) the key to what is taking place. My inspirations range from masterpieces of Italian, Dutch and German Renaissance to more contemporary painters such as Salvador Dali and the New Leipzig school.
