Melinda Matyas is a Hungarian from Transylvania. Studying painting she graduated in 2009 from University of Art and Design, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Before her studies for a few years she had worked collaboratively and individually on a variety of mural projects. In 2007 she finished her studies in Neo-Byzantine Painting. As a beginner in her art career she had also studied Fashion Design. Her current works, paintings and graphics, are psychologically charged expressions of the common and the hidden, existential approach towards the self and its contemplation from outside.
