Born in Kampala capital of Uganda Medie Mulindwa is a self-taught artist who considers himself a student of fine art as his style is work in progress, recently his works takes a surreal form of figuratives of nomad and rural tribes and communities in their cultural and social settings .His works inspired by the natural world ,the beauty of culture and human behaviour ,his efforts focused on African culture as he tells the story of the beautiful land through a synthesis of personal feelings and perceptions in appreciation of his roots, currently his work is inspired by the modern and fast paced world in which he lives today in appreciation of modern culture, and when creating his art ,he intends to spark a silent dialogue between his piece of art and the viewer. His works from the past have been dominated by figurative abstracts, inspired by human behaviour and a synthesis personal feelings and perception of the world around him.
Medie Mulindwa has exhibited in countries in the east, central and northern Africa, and in the recent past in Slovenia, Italy and most recently in the United Kingdom.
