J.R.Gill lives in both Ukraine and the U.S. He grew up mostly in Texas.
Long interested in ancient history and diffusionism, he soon discovered
the writings of Thor Heyerdahl, Barry Fell and Eric Von Daniken who have
had a strong influence on his art and his beliefs. He sees the concept of
the "Sun God" as possibly having it's roots in extraterrestrials from very
ancient times and having a profound influence on today's religious beliefs.

As a child growing up he was interested in both art and technology. In
particular he was curious about flight and aircraft. In his fathers workshop
he built flying models of both rockets and planes. His father restored antique
planes and was a weekend pilot. Gill developed an appreciation for older
aircraft as well as the continuing evolution of flight. Art skills were developed
concurrently.

Although J.R.'s skills and vision's developed on their own he felt aligned with
such artists as Peter Max, Salvador Dali, LeRoy Neiman, M.C. Escher, un-
known Mayan artists, and Valton Tyler. Gill has a deep appreciation for design,
color,space,volume and biomorphic shapes. Many of his paintings are like
renditions of sculptures. They have a constructed quality to them. Also we have
floating orb's along with these other mentioned elements. Many of his renderings
are what he calls his "Spiritual Wizards," which are beings of divine intelligence
and bliss. Most have an opening at the top of the head to symbolize man's
connection to the universe. Gill's result is inspirational optimism in a negative
