About

My work concerns the appropriation of found imagery, archival and advertisement footage. These are deconstructed into film clips or images removing there original context. The fragments are then combined as a single collage with the objective of creating a satirical commentary on contemporary lifestyle.

Exhibitions

Entropy is an exhibition of new work by Matthew Quain and Tim O'Neil. Working in sculpture, photography and print the artists are interested in ideas of the banal, the 'poetry of the eveyday', and using art practice itself as a means to halt the entropic drift of time.

Exhibition opens Thursday December 2nd at 7.30pm, runs until 10th of December at Raggle Taggle Consortium, Sarsfield Street, Limerick.
