My current work is primarily monotype, prints that are jewel-like in their intensity of color and directly-conveyed emotion. I enjoy them for their spontaneity of execution – my paintings always seemed to drag on forever, losing their immediacy. My monotypes exist in the moment they were created and reflect the world as it was experienced then. For me they are an easy path to remembering.
