Born: 1981 in Gothenburg, Sweden
Background: Three years as a photo assistant in Oslo working for photographer Yann Aker. After five years in Stockholm, Sweden I moved to New York City in 2007 to attend the one year Photo global/Artist in Residence program at SVA.

Im working on two different projects that deal with group identity. Im exploring how individuals identify themselves within their social groups and what elements we use to reflect and show our status among others. Im looking at how people adapt and transform themselves to fit into ready-made pattern. My visual inspiration comes from 17th century Dutch painters mixed with todays modern visual language of post-production and advertising media.
