Marko Zubak
About
Born in 1979 in Zagreb, Croatia, in an artist surrounding and started to create soon, playing in the family galley on island Rab.
In 2000 he and his mother started Studio Grisia in Rovinj, Croatia where they work and expose between may and october.
His work includes etchings and photography, painting and drawing, digital image, sculpture and lately toy design.
As he has been studying in three different countries, he speaks Italian,Spanish, Croatian, which is his mother language, English and has a basic knowledge of German, which sometimes makes confusion to other people when they read the names of his works.
After nine years spent abroad, he comes back to Zagreb.
At the moment he is working and producing in his studios in Zagreb and Rovinj, and working as an assistent for
Multimedia on Veleuciliste u Varazdinu (VELV) in Varazdin.

He finished the Fifth Gymnasium in Zagreb and began studying the painting at "Accademia delle belle arti di Bologna", Italy. After three years of studing he has moved to Barcelona where he concluded his degree in "Facultad de Bellas Artes de Barcelona", in 2006.
He has participated in various colective expositions of etching in Italy and also has worked for various magazines as freelance illustrator in Italy and Croatia.
