Mariano Petit de Murat was born in Mexico City in 1961. In 1985, he begins his career as a professional artist.

His work is exhibited in various galleries and artistic events like Hall Des Artistes, Center of the image, Museum of the Chopo, Itatti Gallery, Misrachi Gallery, Gallery the Panaderia and the National Center of the Arts among others. In the year of 2000 he moves to the island of Cozumel where he begins to experiment as a digital artist, exhibiting his work online in the Museum of Computer Arts, Art Majeur, Renderosity, Runtime DNA and many other sites where digital art is promoted. He has become an experienced digital artist, considered refined and creative among his fellow digital artists.
