Manolis is a computer technologies specialist and does not consider himself a painter since he has never studied or spend any considerable amount of time to master the painting techniques. He prefers using the term 'experimental' painter, as he is still striving to understand how colors work, how they interact together and how they behave under several forms of processing, modification, adaptation, conversion, or under extreme conditions.

Very often he ends-up in disappointment but some minimal progress eventually comes and encourages him to go on. He wishes he had more time and space to devote in this wonderful adventure.

As for the cryptic messages often found in his paintings it is only another way for expression, perhaps another language and another puzzle to solve!
