About

I try to make my point as clear and visible as possible with my paintings. It is often basic, obvious forms, or an ensemble; the composition is therefore be simple and as a result autonomous in an overall sense.

The choice of objects in the paintings is accordingly simple. They are transformed to some sort
of surfaces and silhouettes to concentrate on the shape. I work with scaling, layer upon layer, so the objects becomes a new object with a new form.

My work is experimenting with colour.
I try to find different mix of colours, and then combine/compose the outcome in my paintings. Therefore the process of finding these colours plays an important role. Colour is for me not so much the representation of something and I also don’t want to give colour a certain symbolic meaning.
I use the colour to sustain a mood, create space and form. Colour is important in making the painting I am working on as intense as possible.
