l was born in Shepton Mallet and spent a lot of my childhood in Graz, Austria, where l became aware of the power of colour as l gazed through stained glass windows when l accompanied my devote Catholic grandmother on her daily visits to church
My work is emotionally driven. l meticulously plan each new project with photographs and sketches until there comes a point where instinct takes over.
