Whilst studying Art History for my degree in Design, I was introduced to the work of the Fauves. Their expressive use of colour and bold brush strokes inspired and encouraged me to experiment with colour in my own paintings. Painting is a pleasure to me. My paintings may take a day, week or a month to complete but when I start a painting time does not exist. I am totally absorbed in my own colourful word.
