A native of New Jersey USA, I am now a resident of Florida. I have been painting since I was a child, worked as a textile designer in New York City and was an art teacher. My paintings are watercolor, sometimes with pen and ink detail and acrylic paints and textures. The various techniques give a unique interest to each painting or series of paintings. My favorite subjects of flowers, parrots, and macaws allow me to express a passion for the brilliant colors of nature. My paintings are currently displayed in local juried exhibitions and in galleries throughout the US. I have numerous paintings in private collections worldwide and have received several awards for my artwork.I am past President of Women Contemporary Artists, Southwest Florida and a member of The Florida Watercolor Society. I also hold memberships in many local and national art organizations and art centers.
