I received my B.A. in Fine Art from "Brooklyn College" in 1979. Later I attended "The Art Students League" as well as "The School of Visual Arts" Thus began my dual career of commercial and fine art. Although these two avenues of art are so very different in execution and language, they have overlapped positively to help me express myself in both worlds.
I love to experiment and the result is that my artwork keeps evolving. I've gone from representational studies to abstract groups of paintings to my latest series - abstract nude figures.
Although my subjects continue to change, my style of broad strokes and colors remain constant. In terms of fine art, I prefer working with acrylic paint. Sometimes I like to use the paint exquisitely blended and sometimes I let the paint dry in layers.
My latest series combine the sensuous feel of the representational mixed with vivid color to create powerful images of the human body.
