...It is very difficult to talk about painting for an artist, because an artist “talks” in what he is painting and maybe that basically he paints in order not to have to talk about what he is painting. But anyway I will try to explain what I am doing: mix paints (oil, acrylic, water colors etc) Red for passion, blood, love and hate. Yellow for light, gold or silence. Blue for space, sea, coldness or logic. Orange for desire, wildness, fire. Green for desire, newness, hope and plants, where life lives. Black for dramatic, rhythm, darkness. White for wisdom, eternity, snow, emptiness. Sienna, oxide, ochre, purple, emerald... All that, mixed with oil, acrylic, water etc... But above all I put in it passion, humor, sensitivity, affection, empathy, intuition, anger, intelligence, rhythm, personality, emotion and maybe a bit madness. I invite the viewer to take place in front of the painting with an open mind, to get lost in the labyrinth of colours and forms, with his own imagination as a map.
