About

Born in Thessaloniki,Greece, in 1979, where she lives and works.

In her current work she depicts realities where the characters are colorless Kings-Symbols that contradict with repetitive elements. The repetition of forms does not aim to invalidate their uniqueness. On the contrary each of them is an individual existence, hidden in the mass. These synthesis depicted by realistic way would provoke repulsion but in her work the colorless forms aim to cause several different interpretations and call the viewer to decode the picture depending on his own religious, political, social, personal beliefs and experiences.

Education

She graduated from the Visual and Applied Arts Department, School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2002 ( Studio G.Golfinos ). During her studies she has been awarded scholarship of the Greek State Foundation of Scholarships for the academic years 1997-98 and 1998-99. 2003-05: Works under the scholarship of the Greek State Foundation of Scholarships under the supervision of the Professor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Ioannis Fokas.
