I believe that photography has the distinct quality among media to be immediately and unconsciously adopted by the viewer as a surrogate memory, sparking a cascade of personal allusions and meanings. I am inspired to use photography to explore the images that bubble up from my own unconscious. My work is inspired by Jungian psychology, a study of Western occultism, and mythologies from around the world.
