Painting is my passion. I find inspiration in the world around me, and from my imagination. Over the years, my work has increasingly moved away from realism, and has become more stylised. I still sometimes use elements from life in my paintings, but I generally paint purely from my imagination.
Story telling is an important part of my work, and I use strong lines and bold colours to create a sense of atmosphere and mood. I paint places, objects and people who don’t really exist, except for in my paintings. But, does that make them any less real?
