About

Sculptor and Architect Living in Playa del Carmen.
Interested in the relationship between time and the origins of forms.
I try to represent the constant movement of living and inert matter in abstract forms, in a moment of temporary suspension, (some kind of three-dimensional photograph in which time stopped) as a physical representation of the original liquid state of the materials before solidification (the time at which the melted metal fills the molds of sand or processing of the raw material such as wood found naturally in organic forms (tree)), seeking aesthetically to explore into an organic abstraction...
I start by designing the sculptures in a 3d computer program, then I transfer the conceptual idea to a physical prototype in wood using CAM (computer aided manufacturing) to finally make the cast in aluminum.
