Living and working in my studio at my home in Harrisburg, PA
I am an artist seeking to complete a large and valued body of work within my life that will be a source of interest and enjoyment for generations. I am mostly influenced by color and light modulations which occur in fractal random patterns of nature and the material world. Happiness is a medium I try to make primary in my work and the world close to me the subject. I enjoy and exercise the limitless freedom of modern-day painting and do not impose any "ist" or "ism" upon my decision-making process. My work is personal. Self-taught since I became serious about art before first grade. Paid for some classes at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington,D.C. while assigned to the Pentagon and other groups while doing my duty in the United States Army but received many hours of free lectures and class visitations over the 1969-74 years. Spent hundreds of hours in the many museums within D.C. and attended countless lectures and programs there also. Moved to Baltimore Maryland to a studio blocks from the Maryland Museum of Art where I spent a number of years in study of the well-known collection of Matisse as well as Picasso.
Many showings but the most recent was in New Delhi India at The Attic Gallery. A group show with a title and theme of MINT GREEN. ,…Read More
