About

Ibiye Camp a London based artist, now living in Hoxton. She is a student at Byam Shaw, Central Saint Martins part of London University of the Arts, studying BA Fine Art. She has recently completed a Fine Art Foundation Course at Kingston University with distinction. She works with oil paint, acrylic paint, wool, Digital and conventional photography and occasionally clay. Her work is very varied but is mainly based upon london life, style and the cities atmosphere. Infuences of her work are from Chris Ofili, Paul Gauguin, Antony Caro, Lucian Freud, Frank Auerbach, Seb Patane and Helio Oiticica. Ibiye's work is youthful because of its subjects and colours she uses. Ibiye is also commissioned to do portraits. Other commissioned work can be seen in 'Amisha Cafe' by Tower Bridge.
