Hyeran Lee

An oil painting artist, Hyeran was born in Seoul, Korea. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design.
She worked in publishing companies designing children's books and magazines for over a decade as a graphic designer. She has loved all kinds of visual arts in her life.

After moving to Canada, her passion for art and to be an artist was affirmed.
She has continued to study fine art at Sheridan College. Being creative with her artwork is the reason for her passion. She likes to express thoughts and feeling through what she sees. At the Beginning of her work, she starts by planning and conceptualization. She asks, “What am I painting?” “How should this work be depicted? “ What is the focus?” Light and shadow is the base of her painting. Lighting always directs her work to be dramatic and powerful. .
