About
Born in Birmingham,UK the 5th of 8 children although my mom had lost a baby girl 18 months before me.I have a family of 4 children and I started my Fine Art degree in 2007.As a child I used my imagination and imaginative play was very important. I made dolls houses and played with soil, insects and cut out pictures for hours of play.My artwork now is larger than life portraits of dolls drawn from life, placed in domestic settings with busy carpets and walls!! I am inspired by the work of artists including Marlene Dumas, Paula Rego, Ron Mueck, Louise Bourgois and Laurie Lipton.
