My name is Herman Tjepkema, born in Holland in 1955.
After artschool ( 1989) I mostly painted nudes and portraits, live in my studio.

From 2003 I started to use photographs witch I edit on my computer.
The extreme close-up gives my paintings of childeren a dramatic power
