Saatchi Online aims to be the leader in high quality art, and thus requires that at least one side of all images that you upload is at least 1500 pixels and the smaller side is at least 1200 pixels. We encourage our Members to edit all of the images within their profiles to meet this requirement.

To help generate as much exposure for work submitted by artists on Saatchi Online, we created SHOWDOWN, an online tournament for emerging art.
All registered Saatchi Online artists are eligible to enter their works for visitors to vote on. The final winner and the runner up both receive prizes. The winning works will have the opportunity to be display at the Saatchi Gallery in London and possible other venues and art fairs around the world.
To learn more about SHOWDOWN, visit htpp://www.saatchionline.com/showdown
Unfortunately, you may not change your SHOWDOWN entry after it is submitted.
You can only submit one entry per SHOWDOWN.
To vote, you must first create an account for Saatchi Online. You can create an account as a new member through Saatchi Online or connect through your Facebook account at http://www.saatchionline.com/sign-in.
To prevent voting frauds, Members can only vote once per round for all participating artworks so that only unique votes are accounted for winning.
You cannot direct people to vote for you in Showdown anymore because we believe voters should be presented works at random, allowing an even distribution of work to be voted on.
Your Showdown ranking shows your position in comparison with the entire pool of participants for the particular round of the Showdown currently being voted on. So, for instance, if you position is shown to be '45 out 4000', this means that there are only 44 other people who have received more votes for the Showdown that you have received. The closer you are to number 1, the better.
On the SHOWDOWN page during the SHOWDOWN voting, there is a breakdown of when rounds begin and end. This can be viewed at http://www.saatchionline.com/showdown.
If you would prefer to skip a match in SHOWDOWN, simply hit SKIP MATCHUP and you will be taken to the next match. You cannot skip a match-up during Final Voting.
During the preliminary rounds, you can see where you stand by going to the message box underneath your profile image on your profile.
