Linda Joyce Ott is a photographer and artist who makes conceptual and abstract paintings, collages, photos, and 3D boxes. Her studio is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – halfway between Niagara Falls and Toronto.
Linda’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Toronto, Hamilton and Alberta including the Toronto Outdoors Art Exhibition, Hugh’s Room and Visual Arts Ontario, and is in a number of private collections.
Her photographs have been published in Art Focus, Photo Life, and Camera Canada magazines, and in The Hamilton Spectator.
In 2010, Linda received an Ontario Arts Council International Residency Grant to attend a month-long arts residency at the Vermont Studio Center.
Also in 2010, she launched Auto Parts, a photo art portfolio depicting close-up abstractions and details from classic cars. She also had a solo exhibition of photos from the portfolio at the Artword Gallery in Hamilton.
In February 2010, Linda was nominated for a Hamilton Tourism Award for her Chrysanthemum photo calendar.
