Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on November 20th, 1965.Greg Gerla is a commercial and fine art photographer operating a studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.He graduated from the Alberta College of Art & Design in 1990.Gregs work evokes a strong mood with attention to craft and style. He has had various exhibitions of his fine art work within the city and abroad.He is represented by several stock agencies and his work has been published world-wide.Greg has had several exhibitions of his fine art work locally, and abroad. The latest was a solo exhibition titled, glimpse, shown at Axis Gallery of Contemporary Art in Calgary.Greg served on the National Board of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communications) from 2002-2005. He served as president of the Prairie Chapter of CAPIC from 2004-2007, and remains on the Board today.He also holds an instructor position within the Design/Photography Department of the Alberta College of Art and Design.
