I am an Australian artist.
I live in a beautiful coastal area where the cliffs meet the sea. My work is usually landscape based. I am continually drawn to the collision between us and the landscape that often results in signage of varying shape and colour and this in turn provides interesting relationships.
I am influenced by De Kooning, Diebenkhorn and Australian artists such as Tony Tuckson and the use of colour of contemporary Indigineous women artists of central Australia.
I feed my hunger for art by continually reading and frequenting galleries. More recently I have been blogging which feels like an extension of my sketchbooks.
