After five years residing in Santiago, Chile,Géraldine Garçon enrolled in the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, specializing in engraving. A passionate traveller, she believes that uprooting and discovery are the basic engines of her work. Pencil in hand, she journeys through countries and corners sketching in her inseparable travel diaries. For Géraldine Garçon the travel diary is the foundation for her subsequent engraving work, in which takes form her most genuine and best recognized expression.
