My practice surveys the materiality of form and the transmutation of objects and images through the interpretation of varying states of information. My work exists within the frame of paradigm shifts, scientific endeavour, and transmission. I am interested in contexts where the comprehension of the object/image has reached a point where physical form becomes further abstracted through the abundance of accumulated data, giving rise to immaterial networks. I am interested in the object/image in its inchoate or prototypical stage: a point where there is a slight altering of material, editing, and cropping to explore its variable qualities. My work takes form through this interest to create a precarious catenation of interconnecting substances that envelop and mimic archetypes.
