Born in South Central Los Angeles in 1962. My Father's work as an animator and film maker, took us to Europe where we settled permanently in 1969.Working from my studio in France, these paintings and collages represent my personal relationship with street art and grafitti,a passion I hold with the highest regard.Using found detritus of pop culture and digital shots I have taken on my travels, I rework these images onto canvas, creating a powerful re-interperatation.It keeps me in touch with what to me represents freedom, sponteneity and cutting edge,an underground vibe that keeps the mundane at bay. To quote Anais Nin, 'Ordinary life doesnt interest me'.
