He was born in the village Karalar, Ankara, 1933. He went to Egitmenli Elemantary school for the first three years in his school life, the last two years of Elemantary school he went to Hasanoglan village instute application elemantary school. He workes as an elemantary school teacher for period before he went to GEE Art Department and finished the school in 1957. He workes as an art teacher and as a manager in various school.

He made researches and studies in teacher training institues in Paris 1965-1966. He was assigned in Anadolu University Education Art Education Faculty Deparment again in 1989. He became Professor in 1993 and until his retirement in 1996.
