Many of my paintings are of wildlife, predominately parrots, how I would love to be able to fly.

Some other paintings have been influenced by the emotional struggle to find harmony in discouraging situations.

The first painting of the 'Rita' series was a finalist in the New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Award.
