Dion Fitzgerald is a visual artist and musician based in Toronto, Canada.

As an artist, I explore the relationship of simplicity and depth combining the two within the usage of black and white as my main palette. The ability to draw has been a blessing that I have realized since childhood. Design and composition play an incredible role in the construction of my paintings. The need to drown my paintings in such drastic tones of black and white becomes increasingly abstract. It transports my subjects into their own universe creating depth within the canvas. At the same time, it allows the viewer to participate intellectually completing the process by engaging their imagination.
