Dovevivonolefate by Patrizia Fratus

About

Patrizia Fratus of Dovevivonolefate is a fresh presence on the art scene. She explored the expressive power of different and non-conventional artistic tools like paper and textile creating sculptures and installations sensitive; debatable; enjoyable....
An affordable art that interprets the contemporaneous giving life to tales filtered by
a free and deep thoughts, provocations that, using the grotesque, hide additional meanings and reflections.
Installations joyful, allusive, extraordinary perfect in their enchanting game; enormous toys full of possible and declared suggestions; melancholic tales not only for children where the call is to go in there where nothing is as it seems ...

Education
I was born in a hot July, some times ago, in Palosco. I passed from the sewing machine of my mother to the Marangoni Institute in Milan and then in the La Scala Laboratory, and then again teaching for some years. All the rest happened, almost by chance, after sending a picture to an art gallery in Paris, which found my first woman piece “ètonant”. One thing led to another and so I never stopped.

While making I discovered the wonder of what I just realized to be able to make. Since then I tell my tales, the ones I know best, the ones my grandmother told me, the ones of my mother, the ones I told my children and the tales that humanity tell since the begging of the times to teach, to learn, to remember.

As creative mud I utilize the paper, the fabrics.
