My passion as a photographer is to capture the mood of a scene as well as the essence of a thing.

The driving force behind making pictures is my interest in anything naturally beautiful, recording moments and documenting the complex simplicity of our surrounding.

Inspired by traditional film photography, I focus on black & white photography.

Recently I've had the opportunity to show my work at international exhibitions in Brighton, UK and at Toronto City Hall, Canada.

I was born in 1973 in Lauter, Saxony, Germany. After leaving Germany in 1999 to work in Switzerland and Norway I moved to Bournemouth, on the South Coast of England in 2001.
