Laurent ( Lau-Raunt)


Laurent is a Belgian artist living in the U.S. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Richmond, the American University in London, England.

Laurent's experience, interest and skills encompass both artistic photography and portraiture. His portfolio and the dep photo web site display a body of work in which artistic images and portraiture inform one another to achieve compelling results. His art evokes the atmospheric settings of the places where many of his photographs were taken, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, and Dubai. Over the last few years he has been commissioned to create customized international art projects for boutique hotels and luxury cruise liners, in addition to projects for private buyers from America, Europe and the Middle East.

Laurent has also received numerouos honorary mentions in important photographic competitions such as the Lucy Awards.

He has lived in Switzerland, England and Portugal. After a number of years in Los Angeles, he now lives in Miami, Florida.
