Swift calligraphic strokes are executed by hand and further manipulated in a digital environment following methods of automatic drawing.
An abstract space emerges, without any specific form, figure or object present, offering spatial experience beyond any sense of scale, proportion or direction.

While navigating this space during an on-going process of creation and manipulation, vistas open up and are recorded as apertures offering frozen glimpses of ever changing and ever growing space, each from a different point of view. As such, each aperture is unique and therefore a one-off piece.

The final pieces consist of multiple layers of transparent film prints that are overlaid in order to achieve high dynamic range between the dark and light areas. The prints are mounted on electroluminescent boards with high luminance output and chromaticity.
