Mary Coleman
About
I paint darker things, though I am far from being a "dark" person in personality. I'm not sure what draws me to the subjects I pick, it's been a compulsion to obsess over such things since I was 5, maybe even younger. My first presentation in kindergarten was a picture I drew of a black rat representing those that brought about the black plague. Everyone else brought a toy.
I'm currently fighting what I learned taking fine arts classes because I feel art school spoiled the freshness and spontaneity of my work. I hope I can find myself again, because I was happier with and far more sure of my painting before art school than I was afterward.

To Create a New Collection
Click on "Add a Collection" link in the Collections section of your Profile page or click on "Collections" from the top menu and then click "Create a New Collection."
To Add an Image to a Collection
Click on any image to get to the Image Detail page. Below the image, click on the "+" sign to add the image to an existing collection, or create a new collection for it.
