Martyna Zoltaszek takes her inspiration from living in a big city and also from nature. She uses acrylic or oil paint, sometimes with elements of collage, and works her way through each piece building up layers, often experimenting with patterns and regularly featuring her favorite subjects: big cats, bears and dogs. She has an MA from The Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland and won a scholarship to study at the University of Tennessee, US. She has had shows in the UK, Poland and Australia.
