HUMAN STUDIES
Privileged object of the research is the human being, both as an individual and as part of a society and of an historical context. The focus is specifically on the dimension of human identity, which during life is characterized by dynamic and variable changes, while in death it’s fossilized in an everlasting bond. The characters portrayed often seem to reveal the membership of a particular subject to the indefinite past catapulted in today's contemporary world.
Sometimes the works originate and develop from studies or graphic drafts, in other cases from photographic survey and archival research.
